Out Of Hours Care

At The Woodbridge Vets, we understand how important continuity of care is for you and your pets. That’s why we offer a ‘same vet’ continuity service, ensuring you can see the same vet as much as possible throughout your pet’s treatment during normal working hours. Our dedicated team of five vets and seven nurses work tirelessly to ensure that any pet requiring intensive care or recovering from surgery receives the attention they need.

Inpatient Care:

If your pet is unwell and visits us during our opening hours or has undergone surgery with us, we will make every effort to keep them on-site and provide continuous care at our clinic, as long as this is clinically appropriate. A member of our team will stay overnight to monitor and care for your pet, ensuring they receive the best possible attention during their recovery.

Emergency Out-of-Hours Care:

While we strive to provide round-the-clock care for our inpatients, we understand that emergencies can occur at any time. Unfortunately, due to our size, it is not feasible for us to operate a 24/7 on-call service. To ensure your pets are covered, we partner with Melton Veterinary Centre - CVS Vets 24/7, a trusted out-of-hours emergency veterinary service.

Melton Veterinary Centre - CVS Vets 24/7:

For emergencies that occur outside our regular clinic hours, Melton Veterinary Centre - CVS Vets 24/7 is available at Melton Vets, just across the road. They have dedicated night staff on-site continuously and are equipped to handle a wide range of urgent medical situations.
