Dr Kyle Eadie
Veterinary Surgeon and Practice Owner
BVMedSci BVM BVS MRCVS
Kyle was born and raised in Suffolk. He studied at Nottingham University, where he and Laurie met and lived together for 5 years (it’s surprising they still get along!). Kyle worked as a veterinary surgeon and then as the joint clinical director of a local corporate practice before setting up The Woodbridge Vets.
Kyle has special interests in ultrasound imaging and cardiology, and he will continue to take referrals for these cases at The Woodbridge Vets.
In his spare time Kyle is a keen golfer and DIY enthusiast. He lives with his Partner Sophie and their cat Tiggy.

Dr Laurie Barrow
Veterinary Surgeon and Practice Owner
BSc BVMedSci BVM BVS CertNCS(AVC) MRCVS
Laurie grew up in Oxfordshire. He initially studied zoology at Durham University before moving to Nottingham where he and Kyle met. Laurie worked in Leicestershire before moving to Suffolk to join Kyle as the clinical director of a local corporate practice. They then set up The Woodbridge Vets together in April 2022.
Laurie’s special interests are in consulting and surgery. He has pioneered the use of local anaesthetics to allow safer operations and has also introduced keyhole (laparoscopic) surgery to the area. The Woodbridge Vets now takes referrals for keyhole spays, among other procedures. Laurie holds a certificate in Advanced Veterinary Consulting, meaning he has undertaken training to develop this skill further.
At home Laurie is kept busy by his three dogs (two spaniels and a Labrador), and his fiancée’s two horses. He is a keen mechanic and is currently restoring his father’s old car, as well as trying to fix his forever-broken Land Rover.

Joan Pettitt
Client Care
Joan has been on reception since day one at The Woodbridge Vets. She is known as ‘Nannydogs’ having had 47 dogs in her life and currently owns five. Joan has done much work in the past raising money for animal charities, specifically the Blue Cross and Canine Welfare.
Joan is currently head of treats and sweets at the practice, both for our patients and our staff. We are trying to eat the sweets faster than she brings them in but so far we’re failing!

Gemma Cannell
Client Care
Gemma joined the team back in 2022 and has been trying to escape writing her bio ever since (she managed almost a year!!), she would tell you there is nothing to say… In fact however, Gemma is a another Suffolk local having grown up here and she has NVQ level 1 & 2 in Animal Care. She has previous experience in a vet practice as well as working in a high-end pet store for a number of years where she also manged to study animal nutrition, though she thinks her knowledge may be a bit rusty now! Whilst she doesn't currently have any pets (she has had rabbits and a dog in the past), she is kept more than busy enough with her 3 young sons, so much so that she's not sure what "free time" is anymore!

Iveta Rosenkrancova
Client Care
Iveta joined us in 2023, slotting straight into our client care team. Her background is in dental clinic work where she spent over 10 years honing her excellent customer service skills as a nurse and treatment coordinator. She also has Business and Administration role experience, recently earning her IOA Business & Administration Level 2 and IOA Team skills & Leadership Level 2 qualifications.
Iveta loves animals but especially dogs, and in her spare time she enjoys looking after and generally just spoiling her English Bulldog, Lenny. Iveta is equally happy spending time out in the countryside or being tucked up in front of the fire with Lenny, a book and a cup of tea!

Lauren Dorling
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Lauren spent 6 years working really hard in first opinion practice building her skills and knowledge to go on and qualify as a veterinary nurse from the Central College of Animal Studies in 2022. Since qualifying she finds nursing the patients which need to stay with us for the day, typically those with more complicated medical needs, the most rewarding.
She is also really keen to keep progressing her understanding and skills surrounding anaesthesia skills. At the end of the day she is greeted at home by Tabby, her rescue cat and Poppy, her springer spaniel who loves to join her for a long walk or even a good run!
